When serving God becomes a transaction, the flow of His blessings cease – David Ibiyeomie
When serving God becomes a transaction, the flow of His blessings cease.
It is better to serve in God’s vineyard without expecting anything in return. In light of this, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has revealed that once a Christian gets paid for serving God, such a person stops receiving his blessings.
David Ibiyeomie who is the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries while ministering stated that those who are truly serving God should not request gifts.
According to the pastor when a Christian gets paid for his service to God, His blessings on such a person stop. This is because people should serve God without expecting anything in return.
Speaking further Ibiyeomie noted that those who are church workers like drummers, ushers, choirs, etc are not supposed to receive payment for their services. This is because their service is to God.
As expected netizens took to social media to express their contrary view. They commented that since pastors receive salaries, it’s not bad for church workers to receive salaries.
